The Table on Elm is now OPEN in Greensboro!
Oh, those Summer Nights...
Summertime means fresh, new menu items and specialties on the weekends!
Friday night is BURGER NIGHT. Executive Chef Deanna's gourmet burgers will be a specialty on Friday nights at our Eatery. At The Table we agree that there is no better way to have confidence in where your food comes from than to know your farmer. We love our partnerships with local farmers, like Back to Earth Farm, from whom we source our wonderful, 100% pasture-raised, gourmet, grass-fed beef.
"I had been using Back to Earth Farm's product because the quality and flavor of their beef was the best I had found. After their gracious invitation to experience their farming practices, I am convinced it's a product I am privileged to serve."
-Executive Chef Deanna
Back To Earth Farm is a family farm located along the Uwharrie River on 110 acres 8 miles southwest of Asheboro. Owners Tom and Janice Henslee are all about returning to simple, clean living on beautiful land and growing health-generating foods. They never use pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, or antibiotics in their production of beef. They also host events for people interested in their health, food systems, weddings, or just a farm visit to reconnect with nature. Click here to visit their website and find out more about these incredible farmers!
"Having the Farmer's Market at our front door allows me to serve the freshest local ingredients from our loyal farming community."
Speaking of supporting local farmers, have you ever stopped by the Asheboro Farmer's Market? We are so blessed to be able to walk right across the street to get seasonal ingredients for our summer menu items.
Executive Chef Deanna will be using the freshest of ingredients from around our county and state to create FOOD AROUND THE WORLD on Saturday evenings. Expect to see specialty menu items focused on global recognition of all tables. "Around the world people sit down at a table of offerings unique to their cultures. Beginning in late June, I am excited to invite you to come and enjoy exotic flavors, ingredients and textures at The Table," says Deanna.
Support your local famers by visiting the Asheboro Farmer's Market, open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays this summer!
